Dual Processor Technology:
Our Daylight Sensor leverages Dual Processor Technology to differentiate between natural light and LED light. Utilising a specialised photocell within the luminaire, the sensor accurately measures and responds only to natural light, disregarding any internal LED light. This ensures precise control of lighting based on the ambient natural light conditions.
- Automatic Adjustment: When the ambient natural light falls below the desired level, the sensor activates the luminaire. Conversely, when natural light exceeds the threshold, the sensor deactivates the luminaire. This automatic adjustment ensures consistent lighting levels and energy savings.
Holiday Mode
Holiday Mode is a unique feature designed for areas that may remain unoccupied for extended periods. In this mode, the sensor automatically switches the luminaire on and off at random intervals when the natural light is below the desired lux threshold, creating the appearance of occupancy and enhancing security.
Activation and Customisation:
Entering or exiting Holiday Mode is simple and can be done
in two ways:
- DIP
Switch Activation: Position DIP switch #4 to “ON” to activate manual holiday mode. This setting remains active even after power supply failures. To exit this mode, position DIP switch #4 to”OFF.” - Power
Cycling: Quickly turn the power supply on and off twice within 2
seconds to activate manual holiday mode. The fixture will blink twice to confirm successful activation. To exit, simply turn off the power supply.
Randomised Off Periods:
- The algorithm determines the ‘off’ period randomly, with each random ‘ON’ interval lasting a minimum of 2 hours. This feature ensures a realistic appearance of occupancy.

(Note: The MS-PH model uses an integrated microwave sensor with corridor function and its own daylight sensor, and it cannot be used in conjunction with this new model.)
